Join us for a 90 minute walk around Uptown Waterloo, looking at building stones, fossils, erratics, and more! Dress for the weather and wear your walking shoes!

Craft Beer Cycle Tour

Where: Begin at Block Three Brewing Company, end at Abe Erb (Waterloo Public Square)

Cycle from St. Jacobs to Uptown Waterloo, visiting three craft breweries and the farmers market. On the way we will observe cycling infrastructure and challenges and discuss potential local cycling tourism opportunities.

Perspectives on Development through Sketching

Where: Begin at old Electrohome building (at Duke Street and Shanley Street), end at Google (at Moore Avenue and Breithaupt Street)

Walk Leader: Trent Bauman

Join Urban Sketcher Trent Bauman and explore three Midtown sites through sketching while chatting about potential developments in Midtown as well as an award winning example of redevelopment.

Come with your sketchbook and contemplate three sites with a sketcher’s eye to development. Bring your own paper & drawing/painting instruments, maybe a stool to sit on and umbrella for rain or sun

No drawing experience needed. Come out and have fun sketching.

Mary Allen Stories

Where: Begin in the parkette on the east side of King Street at King and William (near Credit Union), end at the Church of the Holy Saviour, 33 Allen Street East

Join us as we walk through one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Waterloo. Find out where the founding fathers and mothers lived, who they were and what they did.
